TERMS & CONDITIONS – $24k in 24 Days (the “Promotion”)

  1. The Promoter is Tauranga Crossing, located at 2 Taurikura Drive, Tauriko 3110, Tauranga.
  2. By entering this Promotion, you accept these terms.

How to enter

  1. The Promotion starts on 1 December 2024 at 9:00am NZT and ends 24 December 2024 at 6.00pm (the “Promotion Period”). Within the Promotion Period there are 24 separate draws:
    a. Draws 1 – 23: A winner will be drawn every day from 2 – 24 December 2024.
    b. Draw 24: The winner will be drawn on 27 December 2024.
  2. This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of a Tauranga Crossing Store, the Promoter, or a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such employee; and (iii) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.
  3. To enter the Promotion, you must, during the Promotion Period:
    a. make a purchase or a number of purchases at any Tauranga Crossing store or combination of Tauranga Crossing stores (excluding banks and EVES Realty) with a combined total value of $20 or more; and
    b. present the receipt(s) relating to these purchase(s) at the Tauranga Crossing information desk to receive a unique code. Receipts will not be accepted if they are, or appear to be, stolen, forged, mutilated, or tampered with; and
    c. enter the draw by completing the entry form and the up to 10 entry tickets (one per $20 spent with a maximum of 10 tickets per customer per day) from the Tauranga Crossing Concierge Desk and depositing them into the physical box at the Tauranga Crossing information desk; and
    d. be a member of the Tauranga Crossing VIP Club.
  4. Entries received during the Draw 1 Entry Period will go into Draw 1. Entries received during the Draw 2 Entry Period will go into Draw 2.  Entries received during the Draw 3 Entry Period will go into Draw 3 and so on for 24 days.  Entries received for a previous draw will not be included in the next draw.
  5. One (1) entry ticket is permitted for each $20 worth of purchases. You may not enter more than 10 entry tickets per person, per day. Each entry must be validated at the Concierge Desk.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity and eligibility of entries and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these terms.

The Prize

  1. All entrants who have validly entered by 6.00pm on the relevant draw dates will go in the draw to win the holiday prize packages. There are twenty-four (24) prizes to be won, one (1) prize on each day for the duration of the promotional period.
    a. 2 December 2024 – 24 December 2024
    b. 27 December 2024
  2. Each prize is one $1000 Tauranga Crossing gift card (the “Prize”).
  3. To claim their Prize, the winner must supply the Promotor with valid New Zealand Identification to enable the Promotor to register the Prize in the winner’s name.
  4. Prizes cannot be transferred to any other person.

The Draw

  1. The 24 winners of the Prizes will each be determined by a random prize draw. The prize draws will take place at Tauranga Crossing by Tauranga Crossing Centre Management on the following dates:
  • Draw 1-23: 2 December – 24 December 2024
  • Draw 24: 27 December 2024
  1. The winner for each prize draw will be the person whose name is on the first valid entry drawn.
  2. A person cannot win more than one Prize. If a person who has already won a Prize is then drawn as a winner in a later prize draw, their entry will be disregarded and the Promotor will redraw the Prize.
  3. The Promoter is not responsible for any entry that is misdirected, lost, or damaged.
  4. The winner will be contacted by phone or email, no later than 6.00pm on the day of the relevant prize draw.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize if the Promoter is unable to contact a winner after four attempts by 5.00pm the following day using the contact details provided by the entrant.
  6. Winners acknowledge that the Promoter reserves the right, at its discretion, to use the entrant’s names and photographs for promotional, advertising or publicity purposes.

Receiving a Prize

  1. Prior to receiving the Prize and being declared a winner, the entrant may be required to show proof of identity and to sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement that accepts the terms relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter, Prize Sponsor and related parties from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the Prize. If a winner cannot comply with this clause 20, the Promotor may redraw the Prize and award it to someone else.
  2. The Promotor and the winner will arrange for handover of the Prize. All risk and liability related to the Prize will pass to the winner when the winner is given possession of the Prize.  Legal title to the Prize will pass to the winner in accordance with the Prize Sponsor’s terms of sale and purchase.  The Promotor will not have any responsibility regarding the Prize once possession has passed to the winner, including in connection with any injury or damage cause by the winner’s negligence.

General

  1. The Promoter’s decision on any matter in connection with the Promotion or the Prizes is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. The Promotor will use your personal information for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, and if you are a winner, providing you with a Prize. The Promotor’s privacy policy will apply.  View this policy at: https://www.taurangacrossing.co.nz/privacy-policy/
  3. All other expenses incurred with any part of the Prizes are the responsibility of the winners.
  4. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) exclude all liability for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity through a technical fault in the running of the Promotion and any other loss of opportunity generally), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or the Prize.
  5. The Promoter is not responsible for any acts or omissions of any other third party.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion and to amend these terms at any time, where it is required to do so by applicable law, or where it is reasonable to do so (e.g. for safety reasons).
  7. This Promotion and these terms are governed by New Zealand law.
